Welcome to our small farm on the forest’s edge in Wilderness on the beautiful garden Route, South Africa.

Established in 2005, we have been developing a food forest and small homestead while working on forest restoration and increasing biodiversity using principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture.

Since 2010 we have been keeping a small flock of Angora goats both for their appetite for wattle saplings and their beautiful Mohair which we cut by hand in Autumn and Spring.

We produce small batches of handspun and naturally dyed Mohair and Mohair products, but our main focus is on teaching small scale fibre production and offering beginners spinning classes and the exciting possibilities this holds for both rural and urban homesteaders and small farmers.
